Okay so I know you guys have all seen this scene and are probably aware of this but I thought I would point out some things I didn’t notice until yesterday when I rewatched it.

Like how tenderly Dean strokes Sam’s face.

And how he puts his hand over Sam’s wound almost like if he holds the blood inside his little brother he’ll be okay. And how he rocks him back and forth like he probably did when they were both kids and Sam cuddled into his arms in the middle of the night after he’d had a nightmare.
