what really scares me when i try and discuss rape and rape culture with men is that they will bring up all these hypothetical situations or “grey areas” when it comes to rape and assault. “Well what if I’m drunk and she’s drunk and we both have sex? Is that rape? who is being raped?”
Because the logical next step, to me, is not to have sex if I have any doubts about my partners ability to consent. Just don’t. Don’t pressure them, don’t assume, don’t. Wait until they are sober or another night. That’s the respectful and responsible thing to do.
And when you say this, they get mad. They get mad at the very idea that they should turn down an opportunity for sex. They are not concerned with the issue of consent or the fact that they may be raping someone, but they are concerned about consent getting in the way of them getting their dicks wet. They are also mad that when they don’t make sure they have consent, that they could be “falsely accused” of rape. They don’t ever think about avoiding the behavior that leads to “false accusations”.
That’s terrifying.

Escape from the Haunted Room is another horror game, where you explore a haunted place. You’ll realize you’re not alone. Many spooky events happen, including seeing a woman walk past you and a hand under the bed come crawling out.
There are no screamers, rather quiet little glimpses of ghosts here and there as you try and search for a way out.

Writing Research – Victorian Era
In historical fiction it is important to be accurate and the only way to do so is to research the era. What is highly recommended by many writers is to write your story first. While writing your story, mark the parts that you’re not sure are correct and then do the research after you are done. This is to prevent you from from doing unnecessary research that may not be relevant to your work. You want to spend your time wisely!
To begin, the Victorian period formally begins in 1837 (the year Victoria became Queen) and ends in 1901 (the year of her death).
