bakrua:

being mentally ill + suicidal at a young age (before 18) is. strange, because you grow up with this idea that one day you’ll finally snap, turn off, be brave enough to kill yourself, so you don’t really plan for the future. adulthood- further life, it isn’t for you, nor do you feel included within the future of it. it isn’t.. it isn’t part of your life plan.

and then before you know it you’re 18 and you’re an adult but you never thought you’d get this far and sure it’s great that you’re still alive you guess but also. you feel so alone + lost in a world you never expected or planned to be a part of.

Haunted Wingate Hotel

Guests of a Wingate Hotel somewhere in Illinois were complaining about screaming noises coming from room # 209. There were no guests staying in that room. This video footage shows a man named John being sent to investigate the matter. You can clearly hear screaming coming from the room. When John opens the door to go inside and investigate, you can see a ghostly figure come out of the door (last gif). When he goes in there he doesn’t see anyone, but all the furniture is turned upside down, carpet is ripped up and the shower is on.

HERE is the video. It does more justice to the creepy situation than the gifs here.

According to the RBF (Resting Bitch Face) theory, if a woman is caught in contemplation (i.e., not smiling), people are more likely to think she’s angry than if a man shows the exact same facial expression. A woman who doesn’t smile is assumed to be in a bad mood because, so the theory goes, women are expected to smile at all times. Through cultural conditioning, women have learned that in order for people to like them, they have to wear a smile even if they don’t think anything is particularly funny. Men who look thoughtful are seen as serious; women with the same expression are perceived as unfriendly and unlikeable.
