*AN EXTENDED EXPLANATION*

1) This was the work of the props and background people. THE PEOPLE WHO MADE THE UPSIDE DOWN BISEXUAL FLAG APPEAR IN NAOMI’S OFFICE WALL DURING THE CRYPT SCENE AND TWEETED ABOUT IT. These people know what they’re doing.

2) Dean ONLY HAS TO BE DESCENDANT OF ADAM AND CAIN TO BE MAKE THE STORYLINE FOR THE APOCALYPSE STORYLINE TO WORK. It didn’t say WHICH DESCENDANT HE CAME FROM SPECIFICALLY. John may have had to have married Mary ONLY TO HAVE SAM.

3) Sam specifically points out that he got “Dean’s blood type” when he was getting blood. THE BLOOD TYPE IS TYPE O. TYPE O IS A UNIVERSAL DONOR AND THE RAREST BLOOD TYPE. SAM DIDN’T NEED TO SPECIFICALLY GET TYPE O BLOOD.

Okay hold the fuck up. First of all, any O blood type, whether it’s positive or negative, is NOT the rarest blood type. The rarest blood type is actually AB-. AB- blood types make up approximately .7% of the world’s population, as compared to O-, which makes up approximately 6.5%. (x)

Also, I am BIOLOGICALLY related to BOTH of my parents. Like, NO question about it whatsoever. My father is A+, and my mother is AB+. I, on the other hand, am B+. (All of us have donated blood, so we are sure this right and not some high school biology class test, so they are accurate.) It’s supposed to be IMPOSSIBLE to have both of your parents having A in their blood types to create a child without one. However, our high school and even college level understandings of blood types and genetics are, in fact, mostly inaccurate. Some AB blood type owners can have what’s called cis-AB blood, meaning that they can, in fact, have O children, even with how rare it is. Usually, cis-AB blood types have to have an either Japanese or Korean line in their genealogy, but that can be generations away. (x)

TL;DR: YES, DEAN CAN STILL BE JOHN’S CHILD.
